Tankerton F C
Tankerton Football club is a Charter Standards Development Club with recently attributed Charity status. Each year from August through to May over 30 dedicated people give up their spare time to coach, mentor and train 250 children/young people in developing their football skills. For boys and girls aged from 5 through to 16, every weekend the club currently has 17 teams playing across divisions in the East Kent Youth League and Faversham Friendly leagues in mini soccer, 9-a side and 11a-side games. Coaches and managers train each week in all weathers to enable youngsters to enjoy their football; gain confidence; make new friends; learn respect and discipline in the fantastic game and appreciate what it is to be part of a team.
